history of Youth empowerment santuary

As CWC saw at-risk youth in the Portland Metro area struggling with a variety of complex situations, they felt a compassion that led them to seek ways to meet some of the basic needs. One of the main board members loves to cook. No one should go hungry! Combining our skills made food boxes for the homelessness.
By a series of miraculous developments of a provision of like-minded individuals, a strategically located facility, and month-by-month financial provision, Youth Empowerment Sanctuary was born. Now, with mostly unpaid personnel, CWC gives to the physical, and emotional needs of about 60 youth a year.
