Community service

Our volunteers each year help the Community Wellness Center build community resilience through charity. Our recent project is building a mobile shelter for youth. Whether helping with prep in the woodshop or cleaning, we’ve got plenty of opportunities to fit individual and group interests and abilities, a couple of days of the week. More information below for existing, new, and volunteers. Due to COVID-19, no group activities. One core CWC member will be assigned to a volunteer. All core CWC members have been vaccinated but masks are mandatory for all.

Volunteers are an important part of the CWC’s mission and operations and we are working on creating a plan that will allow for many more volunteers to return in a safe and low-risk way. For now, we are only able to host individual volunteers. Please check back here for updates.

NEW TO VOLUNTEERING AT CWC?
To get started, fill out the Individual Volunteer Application.

If you need to complete community service, court-mandated, school or pre-apprenticeship program hours, fill out the Community Service Application.

You’ll sign up for your volunteer orientation through the application. Once you attend the brief orientation, you can start volunteering as soon as you’d like. Below is just a sampling of individual volunteer roles available at the CWC—there’s always tons to do to support our work, and we’re grateful to have you here! Volunteers looking for hands-on, creative work with flexible hours will enjoy the ability to mix and match however you like. We want to hear how we can serve you and expand your ambitions and skillsets.

Due to COVID office is closed to in-person and staff working remotely.
